The style of questions in the NAPLAN exams test Numeracy rather than the Mathematics commonly taught in the classroom. These Numeracy questions expect students to apply their knowledge to problem solving situations, often based on real-life scenarios.

In these practice papers students will be able to work through a series of questions designed to help strengthen their skills and identify problem areas.

Once the questions are completed, students will receive feedback on their results in the form of a list that shows which questions were answered correctly and incorrectly. They will have the option of viewing the incorrectly answered question and its fully worked solution in order to enhance their knowledge and improve their skills.

Students and parents can use these solutions to further develop their numeracy skills in specifically targeted areas.
